To celebrate the birth of Robert Burns on 25th January we are giving you the chance to bid on this limited edition bottle of The Famous Grouse whisky.
The Famous Grouse 37 year old blended malt was crafted to commemorate the 250th anniversary of our famous bard, Robert Burns. Only 250 bottles were created from a range of rare casks, matured to the same age as Burns.
Renowned Scottish artist and playwright John Byrne was commissioned by The Famous Grouse to create an original drawing of Robert Burns to adorn this limited edition whisky, making it a truly unique collector's item.
All money raised from this auction will go towards helping children in Scotland who are suffering from renal or urological conditions.
There is a reserve price of £450 on this item. To place a bid please send an email detailing your name, contact details and the value of your bid to firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject of this email should be Whisky Auction. This auction is only open to those aged 18 years or over.
The closing date for this auction is Monday 22nd February at 12pm. The highest bidder (if at reserve price or over) will be contacted later that day.
WORLD KIDNEY DAY
MARCH 10th 2016
Want to get involved?
Here at Kidney Kids Scotland, preparations are underway for World Kidney Day.
World Kidney day is a global initiative bringing together millions of people over 150 countries to raise awareness of kidney health. 2016 will be the 11th World Kidney Day and Kidney Kids Scotland are trying to get as many people involved as we can.
Around 600 million people worldwide have some form of kidney damage, yet awareness of kidney disease is still very low.
Kidney Kids Scotland use World Kidney Day to highlight kidney health and increase awareness.
We would be delighted if you could support us on this day by 'dressing down' or 'up' and wearing the Kidney Kids clolours of blue and yellow.
By wearing yellow and blue and making a donation you could help us highlight World Kidney Day and make a difference to a child with kidney/renal problems and their family.
Perhaps dressing up or down is not for you and you would rather bathe in a bath of kidney beans - fantastic! We are happy for you to raise funds and awareness on World Kidney Day in any way that suits you.
To get your organisation, friends, family or school involved in World Kidney Day contact email@example.com or call us on 01324 555 843.
