OBAN & ARGYLL

A Portable Bladder Scanner has been supplied for use in the Oban/Argyll area. This will enable children to be scanned locally without having to travel to Yorkhill, Glasgow. When you take into account that this area includes a large number of the Scottish Islands this will make a huge difference to the day to day life of the families. The use of Bladder Scanners has also cut the need in many cases of children being catheterized.

It is our aim that children should be treated in their home environment where possible
