Last week the Kidney Kids girls took Falkirk and Stirling by storm for World Kidney Day. Dressed from head to toe in blue and yellow we visited over 30 local companies who were supporting Kidney Kids Scotland on this special day.
We had a ball and would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who worked hard to support the charity on World Kidney Day. It was great to see all of your hard work in action.
World Kidney day is a global initiative bringing together millions of people over 150 countries to raise awareness of kidney health. 2016 was the 11th World Kidney Day and Kidney Kids Scotland were delighted to welcome more people on board than ever before to help raise awareness and money on this day.
Around 600 million people worldwide have some form of kidney damage, yet awareness of kidney disease is still very low. World Kidney Day works hard to change this.
