Caitlin and Anne Bowman raised

Fundraiser by Caitlin Bowman and her Mum Anne assisted by Caitlin's brother Ewan

Caitlin's kidney problems were noticed on a scan when her Mum was just 23 weeks pregnant with her in 1999. At 14 months old Caitlin had half of a kidney removed. She has had various precedures, the last one was by Mr. Cascio at Yorkhill in January 2010. Since that last procedure, Caitlin has not had any infections and has had no antibiotics since August. Caitlin is now 11 years old and is keeping very well.
Caitlin and her Mum are lucky enough to live close to Yorkhill and are able to drive there easily. They chose to support Kidney Kids Scotland to help all those children and their families who don't live near a big hospital. Through selling some Kidney Kids stock and holiding a Pampered Chef night at home with a raffle they raised the fantastic total of £434.93 for the Charity
