Most mere mortals thinking about running their first ever race will sign up to a 5K then perhaps graduate to a 10K and finally they may go for the half marathon. Not so for Ronnie Wilson who decided that his first ever race would be the Fraserburgh half marathon - pretty good going for somebody who only began running in January!
He decided to raise money for Kidney Kids Scotland as his brave son Sam suffers from a kidney condition whcih has seen him hospitalised on many ocassions. Ronnie completed the race in an impressive 2 hours and 4 minutes and even more impressivley he raised a grand total of £1090.92 for Kidney Kids Scotland.
Well done Ronnie and may the running continue!
